After spraining my right wrist somehow (NO idea how) and not being able to hold a pen and being right handed, I am starting the Greyhound portrait that was won at their UKC specialty.

The 16th was Lynda’s birthday so I did Lily and PomPom for her to hang in her room. She’s always saying I do the big dogs but not her fur balls so…..

And here is one i did for Ruth of Dilly’s siter Star. Star is pen and ink on 50 pound cold press water color paper

Here is a new work I did. This dog is an ADBA and AADR CH and almost (or could already be) GR CH named HCK Venom. Venom is our choice to breed to Dilly formally known as CH UWPCH PR Arkay’s Pink Cadillac.

Kelly brought my scanner back so I’ll get better scans of these 2. OK this is updated with actual scans of the pics. I’m working on my favorite head shot of Rowdy and thinking on redoing some of the Rowdy and Me illustrations so I can ship it off for printing soon.

Well I started a pen and ink phase and am really liking them. Here is a photo of a Bug head study. Kel borrowed my scanner so it’s not a great pic. Updated to say here is the actual scan. It looks so much better 

I will do more today and probably work on scanning them to uoload to Imagekind and maybe CafePress before I mat and frame them. The Acrylic paper is a wonderful texture and my next one is going to be an experiment with an acrylic wash for a spot of color I think.

I have been putting off posting but it’s at the drastic stage. as you know, we lost Cuddles January 23, she passed in her sleep in bed with us where she was happiest. I need to raise $600 in the next few days to pay a couple of Manette’s medical bills so he can go get his quarterly check up for his diabetes, and to finish paying Cuddles’ last bill at the crematorium so we can pick her ashes up we’ve been putting it off forever and can’t any longer.

I have black granite, slate, soapstone, and various marbles that I can offer etched and shipped safely at a 6×6 size with an easel stand. The stones are one inch or half inch in thickness. the shipping on these would be actual costs as the post office went up on their economy shipping flat rate. The stones can also be done larger as long as they fit in these box sizes OR you allow them to be shipped UPS or FedEx only. I have had bad experiences shipping stones larger than the 12 inches with the post office. I will also etch glassware and ship it. I also am willing to do mixed media, pen and ink, portraits of your dogs horses or cats or any animals in sizes from 9×12 to 16×24. Available on bristol board, watercolor papers, canvas board or stretched canvas. These need to be shipped and packed by UPs or FedEx so those will be the charges. I can either mat them or not it is up to you.

I had a dormant fine art account at Imagekind just waiting for new art. I had decided that nothing in my CafePress shop would be in this so all new art had to be done. I’m working on it and the first uploaded image was of Cuddles, Bug was second, now for the others…….
